Every network observability tool we looked at gave teams a number and asked them to trust it. When that number was wrong, or moved for no visible reason, there was nothing to audit, tune, or defend to a compliance team. PathMetrics started from the opposite premise: every score should be a formula you can read, and AI should sit on top of that ground truth as forecasting, not replace it as the source of truth.
